Közcük prints a vertical column of fire rising from the base of a black panel, with sparks and flame tongues scattering around it. The sharp contrast between the red-orange flames and the black ground comes through with real intensity.
To the left of the flame, a vertical stainless bolt handle carries a cylinder lock above and below, with a small peephole higher still. The rising column of fire is the only vertical axis on the black ground, and against a dark modern facade that contrast is dramatic without being messy; we stretch the column with the height, since a shortened flame sits too low to read.
