Niş opens with a fan-shaped sunburst crest at the top of the panel in its unpainted gray primer mockup, followed below by an architectural niche framed with slim columns holding two rich floral cartouches. Small geometric squares and a slanted panel complete the composition at the base.
The columned niche structure gives the panel the look of a miniature temple facade. The sunburst crest and the columned niche below it together set up an illusion of depth; getting that much volume out of a flat sheet shows how deep the embossing die runs.
