Gonca covers the full panel top to bottom with a dense, organic relief of overlapping open rose blossoms in its unpainted gray primer mockup, each rose's petal curls worked individually in high relief. The irregular but balanced distribution of flowers gives the panel a natural garden feel, reading as a freer, edge-to-edge composition unlike the more geometric framing of other sheet-panel designs.
Roses layered into one another fill the whole surface, so from the garden side the door reads as worked metal rather than a panel screwed to a wall, and the depth of the relief swallows the small scratches it collects over the years.
