Vitray wraps a smoked-tone glass panel in a meander, or Greek-key, border, a geometric motif that gives the door both an ancient and a modern character. A hanging damask ornament chain, linked by small dots, runs down the centre of the frame.
The glass's gentle smoked tone preserves privacy without blocking it entirely, while still bringing daylight into the hallway. The handle on the left edge is matte black and upright, with a slim lens cut at eye height.
The meander border wraps the smoked glass and draws a boundary around it, so Vitray takes in light while setting the glazing inside the ornament. The pane changes with the leaf, so the border is wrapped again each time and finishes on a complete turn at every corner.
