Meridyen splits a dark anthracite panel with a long diagonal line running corner to corner, intersected at its centre by a key-like or maze-like geometric motif set within a circle. The composition carries a technical, orderly character reminiscent of meridian and parallel lines on a map.
The light grey laser-cut lines leave a clear mark against the dark field. A small peephole and a round lock cylinder sit one above the other on the left edge.
A single diagonal splits the door and the circular form sits on that line, so Meridyen makes do with as little as a technical drawing. The diagonal is drawn to run corner to corner: change the size and the angle changes with it, yet the line always reaches the corner.
