Hale brings together a large, detailed circular mandala at the centre of a dark anthracite surface with matching filigree ornaments repeated in the panel's corners, a layout reminiscent of a halo forming around the sun. The central mandala's leaf and floral forms engage in a visual dialogue with the smaller corner details.
The light grey laser-cut lines read clearly against the dark field. Your hand goes to the vertical black bar handle on the left edge, and the small opening above it looks out.
The corner ornaments echo the central mandala, so the pattern looks repeated from one motif rather than scattered across the door. We cut the leaf to the measurements of your frame opening, with the mandala's centre always landing on the door's centre.
