Girdap radiates a fan of lines from a single point near the top of a dark anthracite panel, widening steadily as they move downward for a strong sense of optical movement. The even spacing of the widening stripes suggests a whirlpool spreading outward from its centre, or a three-dimensional perspective illusion.
The light grey laser-cut lines create a sharp contrast against the dark field. A vertical black bar handle sits on the left edge, with a small peephole higher up.
The bands open from a point near the top and widen as they come down, and that spread takes the door out of flatness and gives it depth. The count follows the size: a wider door gains bands, since with a fixed angle the gaps would grow and the effect would go.
