Fitil presents an extremely minimal composition, with a thin abstract ribbon curving softly from top to bottom across a warm golden oak-toned surface, evoking a rising wisp of smoke or a flickering flame. The thin, unbroken line leaves most of the panel empty, directing attention to a single focal path.
The cream-coloured laser-cut lines leave a soft yet clear mark on the warm wood field. Reaching for the handle, your hand goes to the left edge: a vertical black bar, with a small eye above it that looks out.
The thin strip slips down the warm oak ground in one unbroken curve, so Fitil keeps the door plain with a single line without leaving it bare. The curve is redrawn for each leaf: a short door takes fewer turns, since crowded ones make the line look knotted.
