Fildişi gives a dark anthracite surface an elegant border with a capsule-shaped, rounded-end frame drawn in a warm ivory tone. Vertical vine and leaf motifs fill the frame, flowing unbroken from top to bottom for an organic rhythm.
Unlike the collection's grey-toned models, the warm ivory colour creates a soft yet clear contrast against the dark field. The hand finds the left edge: a vertical black bar handle, with a small eye cut in near its top.
The capsule frame rounds the corners off, so the vine motif sits in a soft field rather than a sharp box. Ivory does not force a hard contrast against anthracite, so the pattern shows itself as a drawing up close instead of a blot from afar.
