Erguvan wraps a dark rosewood-toned surface in a meander, or Greek-key, border, a geometric motif that gives the door both an ancient and a modern character. A hanging damask ornament chain, linked by small dots, runs down the centre of the frame.
The silver-grey laser-cut lines create a clear contrast against the dark wood field. A vertical black handle sits on the left, and above it a small lens for seeing who has arrived.
The meander border runs around the door and leaves an ancient reference on it, while the dark rosewood tone keeps that geometry on the modern side. The vertical run of ornament is set by the leaf height, and we change the count rather than the length so it always ends on a complete motif.
