Çiğdem lines up four diamond-shaped floral rosettes along a vertical axis on a dark anthracite surface for an orderly, rhythmic composition. Each rosette holds an eight-pointed star-flower motif, linked by a thin vertical line that runs unbroken from the top of the door to the bottom.
A diagonal black bar handle sits just below one of the rosettes and breaks the rhythm in a lively way. A small peephole is cut a little higher up.
Four rosettes line up at even intervals on a vertical axis, and Çiğdem does not hide the repetition - it builds the door's order out of it. The count changes with the leaf height: a lower door takes three, with the rosettes themselves unchanged.
