Elmas stands out as one of the collection's most ornate models, setting a dense vertical copper-and-bronze carved decoration against a deep reddish mahogany surface. Fine metalwork runs the length of the narrow panel, converging on a round medallion at the centre, with smaller repeated reliefs at the top and bottom.
The rest of the surface is left plain to let the ornamentation stand out, with multiple lock cylinders placed symmetrically beside the panel. The copper and bronze carving rises as a vertical column, so Elmas belongs at a mansion entrance meant to show weight and workmanship - on a plain landing it is simply too much.
The column is kept in proportion to the leaf: a lower door gains margin above and below rather than compressed carving.
- Dikey bakır/bronz oyma süsleme paneli
