Dalga cuts a soft S-curved band of beige stone texture through a dark brown granite surface that is otherwise divided into thin horizontal bands, giving the orderly lines an organic, flowing interruption reminiscent of a wave or coastline. The horizontal ribbed stainless bar handle sits where the curve widens near the base, and above it a small viewer and two separate round lock cylinders line up.
The S-curve cuts across the horizontal bands, so order and movement share one face, and Dalga finds that pairing natural in a coastal house. We draw where the curve begins and ends from the leaf's proportions - it has to finish before it reaches the edge, otherwise the form breaks.
