Ritim carries the same symmetric V-shaped stripe family as Nota and Akor, this time set against a glossy black lacquer surface, where the deep reddish-brown stripes seem to rise out of the dark depth of the finish. A narrow dark horizontal panel sits where the two V shapes meet, flanked by symmetrical round lock cylinders.
The glossy surface reflects light, making the rhythmic stripe pattern stand out even more after dark. On the gloss black ground the shadow of the pattern comes forward along with the pattern, and the same V arrangement takes on a much harder tone.
The angles are set from the leaf size and worked precisely - on a reflective surface an angle that drifts takes the reflection with it.
