Nota carries a symmetric composition of V-shaped stripes narrowing toward the centre from top and bottom, each divided by fine stainless lines, on a deep reddish mahogany-toned surface — a rhythmic pattern reminiscent of a musical scale or a sound wave. A narrow dark horizontal panel sits where the two V shapes meet, flanked by symmetrical round lock cylinders.
The two Vs meet at the centre, so the pattern knots exactly at mid-height, and that makes Nota as focused as it is symmetrical. Their angle depends on the leaf's proportions: on a tall door they steepen, which makes the face look slimmer still.
