Köprü lines up five evenly spaced, light silver-toned horizontal strips across a dark walnut-toned surface, recalling the rhythmic piers of a bridge. A small walnut wood block, matching the field's tone, interrupts one of the strips at its centre, adding a functional focal point to the composition.
A small round lock cylinder sits on the left edge, with a small peephole above it. Five silver bands come down the dark walnut at even intervals, so Köprü is for people who want order on their door rather than ornament.
Count and spacing are worked out together from the leaf height - change one and we change the other, or the rhythm breaks.
