İpek sets two vertical panels with a fine horizontal rib texture against a glossy black surface, each framed by a thin maroon border. The density of the ribbing gives the panels a soft texture reminiscent of folded silk fabric.
A straight vertical bar handle slots in between the two panels, with a small lens above it. The two vertical panels are textured with horizontal lines, so two directions work the same surface, which is why İpek looks plain without looking empty.
Their width comes from the leaf: on a wider door we add black between them rather than widen the panels.
