Flüt sets six vertical fluted wood slats at the centre of a glossy black surface, framed by a dark wood-toned door frame, creating an orderly rhythm reminiscent of wind-instrument pipes. The shadows between the slats give the door a pronounced sense of depth.
A straight vertical chrome bar handle is fitted just left of the slat column, with a small lens above it and two separate round lock cylinders below. The six fluted slats gather in the very middle of the gloss black, and because the flutes break the light the door offers a texture that shifts with your angle rather than a fixed surface.
The count follows the width: a narrow door takes five, since crowded slats hide their flutes.
