Tel presents a strong modern character with glossy inox-framed glass panels set against a dark ground, divided by a fine wire-like grid of thin horizontal and vertical bars that repeats across both leaves. Each leaf has a large chrome pull handle curved into an S at its centre, and the threshold beneath is patterned in mosaic stone.
The close grille protects the glass and textures the surface at the same time, and at a villa entrance near the street that density makes the sense of security visible; on a wider opening we add bars, or the grille loosens into something else.
