Kekik is a single-leaf fire door with a fresh herb-green tone, carrying both a square vent grille and an escape pictogram in its upper section. Placed just below the vent, the pictogram, showing a flame icon and a running figure, clearly marks the escape direction in an emergency.
The square vent, made of fine horizontal slats, supports air circulation within the space. The pictogram and the square louvre stay up high while the bar sits exactly at hand height, so the three functions never get in each other's way.
Having the louvre and the pictogram together in the upper section covers both ventilation and wayfinding in a school corridor; the two are balanced across the top of the leaf and the frame follows your opening.
