Karanlik is a double-leaf fire door with a serious, assertive character built around a dark navy-black tone, with a vent grille on each leaf. Rectangular vent grilles set into the lower section of each leaf are made of fine horizontal slats that support air circulation within the space.
A bar on each leaf opens both lanes of a parking exit at once, an arrangement set up for people on foot rather than vehicles. The dark tone pairs strongly with modern, dark-facade buildings.
The dark navy-black shows exhaust marks and dust less than a lighter colour would at a parking entrance; openings there follow the vehicle route, and the frame is made to whatever that measures.
