Baykus is a completely unadorned single-leaf fire door with a dark navy-black tone recalling nocturnal birds, giving it a quiet, assertive character. The surface has no glass, vents, or other opening, reflecting a plain, functional design that prioritizes fire and smoke containment.
Since the bar crosses almost the entire width, even someone who stumbles into the door in the dark hits the right place. The dark tone pairs strongly with modern, dark-facade buildings.
The deep navy-black leaves the door as a quiet boundary in a business-centre corridor, and the absence of ornament completes that quiet; where the floor plans differ, each door is made to its own opening.
