Katedral evokes cathedral windows with grid panels of small square glass panes set along the outer edges of each leaf on a white-gray ground, thin inox bars between the panes keeping an even rhythm. Angular zigzag chrome handles reach toward each other at the center of the leaves for a modern contrast, above a wide dark gray inox kick band at the base.
The glazed grids stay at the outer edges of the leaves, which leaves a solid surface in the middle - Katedral is for buildings that want light without glass at the centre of the door. The square spacing follows the opening: a wider entrance gains another column of squares rather than larger ones.
