Izgara creates a strong grille effect with dark vertical glass panes in each leaf, divided into five sections by horizontal chrome bars, topped by a fixed glass transom above the door. S-curved chrome pull handles stand next to the glass, giving the front a sculpted edge.
The evenly spaced bars give the view through the glass a layered look. The dark glass keeps the hall private by day and lets its light spill onto the street at night, so Izgara holds the balance at a gated entrance that wants both.
The stainless battens cross in front of the glass, so the face reads as a divided surface rather than one large pane.
