Basamak builds a dynamic composition on its dark brown wood double leaf, each side carrying five frosted glass rectangles staggered diagonally like steps, sliding from top to bottom for a modern rhythm. A recessed round handle sits at the centre of each leaf with a cylinder lock above and below, over a marble-look threshold.
The frosted panes step up on a diagonal, so the pair reads as one movement even though it is two leaves, and the pattern does not break at the meeting line. The count and the run come from the opening: a lower entrance goes from five panes to four with the same diagonal angle.
